The weekend

Between having lost track of the things I wanted to post about and not having the time to properly photograph the things I’ve been working on you were left with what we were up to this past weekend. We were busy but it was a lot of fun, and involved a lot of food making! Yum.

I made the delicious Mujadara:

 

We snacked on juicy and delicious pommegrate:

 

We had a lovely walk in the woods and found an amazing fairy house and giant mushrooms:

 

We made gingerbread men using the recipe from Warren’s Baking Bread With Children:

 

And finally had our lantern walk to celebrate Martinmas:

Entre ter perdido a minha lista de posts e não ter tido tempo de fotografar as coisas nas quais tenho trabalhado, sobrou pra vocês o que a gente fez nesse fim de semana passado.  Foi um fim de semana cheio, mas muito divertido e com muita comida boa! Delícia!

Eu fiz o delicioso I made the delicious Mujadara.

Comemos uma deliciosa e suculenta romã. Já viram romã grande assim? Nunca tinha visto assim no Brasil, só pequenininhas.

Passeamos na floresta e achamos uma casa de fadas enorme e também cogumelos gigantes.

Fizemos biscoitinhos de gengibre usando a receita do livro do Warren Baking Bread With Children.

E finalmente fizemos a nossa caminhada noturna com as lanternas para celebrar o festival de são Martinho.
